Miguel Anaya

I was born and raised in El Paso, TX, a city sharing a border with Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. My parents were both born and raised and Mexico, and as such, my first language was Spanish. I learned English mostly through cartoons and TV programs, though I preferred some in Spanish over English. I have also loved video games from a very early age and began appreciating music to the point where I eventually joined a cover band with a few good friends and have been playing for others since. The thing that always fascinated me about cartoons and video games was how something that was obviously not real could speak so much to my emotions. It was there that my love for voice acting had begun, whether I realized it at the time or not. Growing up, I always enjoyed making others laugh and would go to great lengths to make funny voices or imitate others to get a laugh. Now I can bring that same joy I did to many others on a more wide-reaching platform, both in Spanish and English. Like the international bridges that joins us to our sister city, I hope my voice will bridge divides for many.
